Remembering Scot Copeland
We are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved Artistic Director, Scot Copeland, who passed away February 24th. His passing is a great loss to NCT, the Nashville Theatre community, and the Theatre for Young Audiences community as a whole.
Our hearts go out to Scot's family and loved ones during this difficult time. He will be greatly missed by everyone at NCT.
A public memorial for Scot will be held at NCT at 3 p.m. on April 3rd, 2016.
The memorial celebration will be held Sunday, April 3, at 3 p.m. at the Nashville Children’s Theatre, located at 25 Middleton Street, Nashville, TN 37210.
The memorial celebration will feature contributions from family members as well as fellow Theatre for Young Audiences advocates, members of the Nashville theatre and arts communities, and members of the NCT family.
For those unable to attend in person, we will be livestreaming "Scot's Show" here. Whether in spirit, or in person, we hope you'll join us as we celebrate Scot.

Scot Copeland was a master storyteller, both onstage and off. The staff at NCT and the Nashville Repertory Theatre thought it fitting that his legacy of a good story not be overlooked. If you have a fond memory, anecdote, story, yarn, legend, chronicle, or tale, please send it to the following email:
This will be a funnel and collection of stories and remembrances that will be shared with his friends, family, and Nashville Theatrical Community. Sharing the past will hopefully help us heal.
We will share more information as it becomes available.
