Children's Theatre's Curriculum Guides
NCT's curriculum guides provide classroom teachers with background
information, ideas and activities that help prepare them for the
experience of going to the theatre as well as connecting the themes
of the play to the Tennessee State Curriculum
Standards. Some pages provide teacher resources while other
pages (denoted at the beginning of each guide) are designed for
teachers to duplicate for their students.
Actors love to hear from young people. Students can write letters to the actors,
draw a picture of their favorite scene in the play, or write a review of the
show.

Special Saturday Workshop: On
Saturday, September 30 at 2 pm, NCT Director of Education,
Julee Brooks and Brian Hull of Nashville Public Library will
team up to
present an interactive workshop that is open to anyone.
Join us that day where children will make their own cardboard
rapiers and see a demonstration of stage combat.
